Welsh Cycling have joined forces with Fitap a Wales based fitness application as they come onboard as a partner.

Fitap is a health and fitness application which was created by a range of fitness experts, including current Welsh Rugby Union stars Gareth Anscombe and Alex Cuthbert.

Fitap want to bring the world of fitness and wellbeing into one easily accessible platform for the consumer, create and reward a community of people who enjoy staying physically and mentally active. They also want to provide the health and fitness sector with a low cost, measurable advertising platform.

The partnership with Fitap sees Welsh Cycling added to the app, and will allow people to sign-up to recreational rides including HSBC UK Breeze and once our events resume in Wales, users will be able to browse and try our wide ranging events across all disciplines.

Alex Cuthbert said: “Cycling is a great fitness option that can be enjoyed indoors and outdoors as well as by children and adults, so we’re really pleased to have Welsh Cycling as a partner and open up cycling options to our users.”

Commercial & Partnership Manager, Mark Allen said: “Working with Fitap is a great opportunity for Welsh Cycling to reach additional bike riders – linking them up with cycling activity that is happening in their local area and giving them the opportunity to enjoy more cycling.”

To start your fitness journey, set up your profile, including budget, location and requirements, and FitAp will make suggestions that work around you. The app is available on the Google Play Store and the IOS App store, so download the app today and explore the cycling opportunities available.
