Welsh Cycling are delighted to invite all promoters, clubs, and organisers to think about the events they will be promoting in 2021 where we can begin to build an exciting calendar of events for next year.
2021 Welsh Championships & Series Events
Welsh Cycling are now inviting applicants who want to express an interest in holding and promoting a Welsh Championship event in 2021. If you are interested in holding a Welsh Championships event, then please follow this link – Welsh Cycling Championship Events 2021 - Expressions of Interest Application Form – and complete the form. The Welsh Cycling Events Officer will then get back to you in due course. The deadline to declare an expression of interest for Welsh Championship Events is by January 18th, 2020. The deadline for Cyclo-cross will be extended into 2021
This year promised to be an amazing year full of fantastic events on the Welsh racing calendar. It has been a tough year for us all and although there have not been many events on the ground, a lot of activity has been going on virtually and we applaud the innovative and creativity of all clubs and riders through the lockdown and beyond. All of us at Welsh Cycling would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to every single person who give up their time and contribute to all cycling events here in Wales and we hope that 2021 can be bigger and better than ever before.
2021 Welsh Cycling Events Calendar
Although 2021 may be unclear as we currently stand with the pandemic, by planning ahead we allow ourselves to work with the racing calendar and build a fit for purpose calendar full of exciting events. With that said, Welsh Cycling would like to invite all promoters, clubs, and organisers to think about the events they will be promoting in 2021 from grass-roots level right up to our Welsh Championships & Series events.
For any organiser, new or returning, wanting to put an event on for 2021 within any discipline, could you please send brief event information (dates, location) and event discipline to the Events Officer via this form.
