About Clwb Beicio Dwyfor
Like clubs all over Wales, Clwb Beicio Dwyfor are committed to providing opportunities for everyone within the local community to cycle, from coaching sessions, social rides and racing for the competitive cyclist.

'Selfie Challenege'
The club once again hosted the now famous ‘Selfie Challenge’, aiming to raise funds to support the next generation of cyclists from the local area. The initiative and creative event sees Welsh Cycling award Clwb Beicio Dwyfor with the recognition of May’s Club of the Month.
Returning for the 5th year running, this year’s Selfie Challenge was the biggest yet! A modern take on the reliability trail, the challenge saw riders from all over North Wales and beyond enjoy 1 of 2 routes around the climbs and quiet country lanes taking in the stunning views and stopping off to take a selfie at 4 ‘checkpoint’ locations and uploading to the event Facebook page, before returning for well-earned bacon and sausage baps and plenty of cake. The success of the event is a testament to the club and the volunteers who work so hard to ensure the day runs so smoothly and everyone enjoys the ride.
The funds raised from the selfie challenge will support the club with their commitment for rider development across road, track and cross for the upcoming year and into the future. Clwb Beicio Dwyfor play an important role in the grassroots development of cyclist, not only from the club but across North Wales. The club is an Accredited Go Ride Club, hosting a round of the Go Race Circuit series each year and working closely with Welsh Cycling Go Ride Coach Tim Matthews to provide a range of opportunities for the clubs young riders to hopefully produce future Welsh Champions!
