Welsh Cycling, the National Governing Body for cycling in Wales with over 180 clubs, 7000 members and an international stage where Welsh riders have won Commonwealth, World and Olympic titles is looking for a Communications and PR Officer to join their passionate Team.

Working in a small but effective team and reporting directly to the CEO you will have responsibility for PR, Social media (key channels are Instagram, FB, Linked In and Twitter) eCRM development and website content working closely with a team of development and sport officers to create and manage all published content.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills and sound IT skills, you will be responsible for co-ordinating Welsh Cycling’s internal and external communications to ensure there is an increased profile and understanding of Welsh Cycling’s programmes and activities.

You will have experience in website management and will be responsible for writing and updating website content, making sure the content and copy is engaging and reflecting Welsh Cycling as a brand. A great multi-tasker you will project manage a variety of internal projects and initiatives for welsh sport including data capture, monitoring & analytics. Because Welsh Cycling are a small team, you will be happy to be quite hands on and get involved in other areas of the brand marketing outside of your role remit.
