HSBC UK National Trophy Series comes to Wales

British Cycling has named Pembrey Country Park as one of six host venues for the 2019/20 HSBC UK | National Trophy Series. The series will begin at Moorways, Derby, and conclude at York Sports Village. Two venues – Westmorland Showground in Cumbria and Wales' Pembrey Country Park in Carmarthenshire – will make their debut appearances in the series, while Irvine Beach Park and the South of England Showground will also host rounds.

A Cycling will be hosting the event in Pembrey in November this year. Matthew Page, Director of A Cycling said "I am very excited that our bid has been selected to host a round of the National Trophy Series".

"Full details will be announced closer to the season, but it will be based around a new course which will be near the ski centre area, but different to all previous events hosted at Pembrey".

Anne Adams-King, Welsh Cycling CEO said "This will be a great spectator attraction for West Wales, we're really pleased to hear A Cycling have been succesful in their bid and we're sure our Welsh race members will enjoy an event on homeground, Congratulations Matthew and Nia".
