Event Overview

This is a criterium taking place in the historic village of Tickhill based on a closed road circuit around Sunderland Street, taking in the iconic Buttercross. It is a 30 lap race of the 1.3 km circuit with 4 sprint primes and a first prize of £150. It is the launch event for Tfest, an all day festival of music in the village and a big crowd is expected. The race will be run under British Cycling rules for 3rd & 4th Cat racers and is supported by Doncaster council and local businesses and in association with Bikebox Alan.

About the Event

Info for Riders

This a criterium on closed roads on a 1.3 km circuit. The race starts at 11:00 am but the course will be available from 10:45 to warm up. The start and finish is outside the Scarborough Arms and there will be one neutralised lap behind an NEG motorbike to start the race. Lapped riders will be pulled out. Photo finish equipment will be in use. Priority will be given to local club riders from promoting clubs. Come and enjoy a great race and experience the atmosphere as we bring a European feel to racing in South Yorkshire. Race HQ is to be Tithes Lane Sports Pavillion Tithes Lane Tickhill DN11 9QN This is opposite the Buttercross, down the lane next to Lockwoods Florists, it will be sign posted on the day.
