Event Overview
A mountain biking event for women; after a very successful first year in 2013, we are again organising this popular event.
We want to encourage all women who enjoy mountain biking to come and experience a mountain bike event set in the glorious Mid Wales countryside. Come and ride with other like minded women for a wholly different event experience. The event is suited to all women with a basic level of fitness and skill, last year several of the participants were completely new to biking off road! (and some where semi pro's!)
On Saturday there will be lots going on at the venue for the whole family, mtb biking skills, mechanic skills, demo bikes, tea and more cake, bouncy castle,table tennis, kids races, Mens guided ride, all included in the entrance fee.
On Sunday you can chose 15K, 20K, 30K or 40K routes, all off road with diversions around the technical tracks for those who want them. The feed stop on top of the hill will have your usual energy products and tea, coffee and homemade cake.
Back at the venue you will be rewarded with a medal, certificate and sports massage. (and more tea!)
The event will be based at Fforest Fields Campsite www.fforestfields.co.uk , a 5* award winning campsite, a fabulous place to come and stay with friends or family for the weekend. Please book camping directly with them.
