Continued success from the Great Britain Cycling Team has provided inspiration for riders of all abilities to get involved with the sport of cycling

British Cycling is launching disability cycling hubs across the country to improve access to the sport for people with a disability and ensure that those wanting to improve their cycling performance receive the support they need.

The sessions held at the venues are also the first step for para-cyclists on The Rider Route for the Great Britain Cycling Team, so participants could one day go on to bring home some Paralympic medals.

There are currently hubs in Manchester, Bath, Nottingham, York, Kent, Leeds, London - Herne HIll, London Lee Valley Velopark  and the birthplace of the Paralympic movement, the Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Aylesbury.

These hubs bring people together on a regular basis to engage in coach-led cycling and develop technique, fitness and confidence. The para-cycling sessions are delivered by British Cycling’s Go-Ride coaches and other partner organisations, providing opportunities for all-ability cyclists and a wide range of impairments.
