A further round of the has been added to the 2012 Calendar. This will take part during the first day of the to be held at Meadowbank on the 23 and 24 June.

Those not qualifying for the main Sprint competition and those eliminated in round one will qualify for a ride in a ‘B’ Sprint competition. A Keirin competition will be held on the second day of the meeting on 24 June.

Competitors who do not meet the eligibility requirements for Scottish Championships* may enter the Kilometre time trial and Team Sprint (to be held as part of the Scottish Championships) but will not be eligible for Championship Medals.

*Those eligible for Scottish Championships are:

• Members of clubs affiliated to Scottish Cycling
• Persons born in Scotland
• Persons who have been resident in Scotland for three of the last five years
• Persons who have at least one parent who was born in Scotland
