Marcin, Tobyn and Will, all new Motorpoint recruits relaxing for a photo shoot.

A lot is expected of Bridgewater-based Marcin, especially as he is likely to be filling World Championship Silver medallist from the track, Andy Tennant’s considerable shoes but he’s more than up for the challenge, especially after such strong performances in races such as the East Yorkshire Classic.

I’m one of those guys that gets stronger the more they race. If I could race every day, I would. I love it,” says the man who won over twenty races in 2010. Like many riders, Marcin has to work during the off-season but in spite of this, he’s still managing to put in the hours on the roads around Somerset.

I’ve probably trained harder in these last few weeks than I have done for years. It’s a big step up with the team competing on so many fronts and I want to make sure that I am ready. We’ve got some really good riders in Bibby, McEvoy, Sampson and Williams and I want to up there with them competing for wins next year.

East Yorkshire Classic 2010 and Marcin (right) just fails to nail 2011 teammate Ian Bibby on the line. Bibby was second, Marcin third while the lone winner was Dave Clarke.
