There is a change of venue for round three of this summer’s , scheduled for the weekend of 26-27 May 2012.
Due to organisational and logistical issues with the previously announced venue of Eastridge, round three will now take place at the nearby Hopton Woods, near Hopton Castle in Shropshire.
Although primarily known as a downhill venue, the woods have recently benefited from the development by Dave Pearce of Pearce Cycles of extensive Cross-Country trails which are due to open to public users in March. Parts of the new trails will be incorporated into the course, and Pearce Cycles will be taking on the promotional duties of the event.
Hopton is only 20 miles south of the original venue and 8 miles south-west of Craven Arms.
