On 14th May Hull Cycle Speedway Club staged the second round of their Go-Ride Racing League at the track in Hessle East Yorkshire. Despite the unfavourable weather conditions a great evening of racing was had by the 17 riders who braved the showers.
Nathan Everett again coming out on top with an unbeaten score in the under 14 event. Jack Lister created something of an upset by claiming second place with Josh Bellis in third.
The Under 12 division was won by Jack Lister in fine style with a run off needed to separate Charlie Wade in second place from newcomers Adam Parker and Jayden in third and fourth places. Charlie Wade was a clear winner of the under 10’s from a fast improving Edward Lister and Ben Adams who took his first rostrum place of the series.
The girls section had a better turn out this time round with Abigail Patterson taking the honours from sisters Talia and Elodie Nieto-Charlton in joint second place and Olivia Atkinson impressing on her debut. The awards for rider of the night went to Jayden and Abigail Patterson on a showery evening where 17 riders braved the unfavourable conditions.
