2025 British Cycling BMX National Series Gosport BMX  

Round 7 – 14th June  

In the Superclass, Calum Strickland (Preston Pirates BMX Club, North) took top spot, recording the best finish of the day in the final to beat out Taylor Hunt (Burnham BMX Club, South West) in second and Xander Mavolwane Wright (Peckham Challengers BMX Club, South) in third. Strickland’s strong showing showed him move up to 2nd in the overall standings for the Superclass division.  

Lily Chiziwa (Nottingham Outlaws BMX Club, Midlands) was dominant all day in the Championship women placing first in three of the four races of the day, and securing maximum points for the day. Megan Roy (T.N.T., South) placed a respectable second, while Lucy Simpson (Gosport BMX Club, South) placed third.  

Finley Hough (Preston Pirates BMX Club, North), took the top spot in the Junior Open, recording the best finish and best hill of the day in the final, after winning all his races that day. Reuben Byrne was just 0.2 seconds behind Hough after a strong day of racing, finishing second, while James Clitheroe (Manchester BMX Club, North) came third.

Round 8 - 14th June

Xander Mavolwane Wright got his revenge to place first in the Superclass, beating out Taylor Hunt who picked up another second place. Danny Jack Monforte (Peckham Challengers BMX Club, South) had a strong day of racing, finishing third overall, securing his first podium of the series so far.  

Lily Chiziwa was top of the table again in the Championship Women, achieving the best finish of the day in her second race and securing maximum points. Megan Roy placed second as well as achieving Best Hill, while Elizabeth Bown (Royston Rockets BMX Racing Club, East), came third. The exceptional weekend for Chiziwa takes her to second in the overall championship table, just 20 points behind Emily Hutt (Runnymede Rockets, South).  

Finley Hough secured another win in the Junior Open, placing above Reuben Byrne in second again, while Fynn Phillips (Bournemouth BMX Club, South) finished in third. The weekends results mean Hough claims top spot overall in the rankings, with Clitheroe close behind on second and Byrne in third.

Lloyds National BMX Freestyle Park Series Round 1 – Asylum Skatepark

15 June

In the first round of the series at Asylum Skatepark, Jordan Clark took top spot in the Elite Park Open general classification, with the best run of the day scoring 116 points and taking home 100 series points. Clark beat out Jude Jones in second, who had taken the most points for best trick, and Reece Dabreo in third. In the Elite Park Female, Sasha Pardoe claimed the win over Holly Pipe in second.  


Lloyds National Downhill Series 2025 Round 3 - Rhyd-y-felin

Luke Williamson secured his second win of the season in the Open Elite competition, with a run almost four seconds quicker than Dan Slack in second. Adam Brayton settled for third.  

In the Female Elite, Jess Stone was the fastest woman of the day, taking top spot. Emily Moseley came in second, while Bethany McCully came in third.  


Scarborough Cycling Festival incorporating National Youth Circuit Series with Big Bear Bikes and Community TM Ltd

In the under-16 Open Lewis Barry Memorial Race, Finlay Storrie (GKR Racing) finished top, securing all 15 points, ahead of Daniel Davies (Maindy Flyers CC) in second and Ezra Bateman (Clifton CC) in third.  

In the under-16 Girls Community TM Ltd Race, Melanie Rowe (Deeside Thistle CC) took top spot, ahead of Aisling Charlesworth (Fibrax Fenwick’s Wrexham CC) in second and Yasmina Clay (VC Londres) in third.
