British Cycling has released a new library of 13 digital training plans on TrainingPeaks, the Official Training Plan Platform.

The plans – created with a wide range of riders in mind – have been designed by professional coaches to guide users to reach specific cycling goals – from a time-efficient winter training plan, preparing for a sportive, or getting ready for the track or cyclo-cross season. All workouts within the plans are fully built and compatible with online training platforms like Zwift, smart trainers and a number of bike computers.

British Cycling’s Cycling Delivery Director, Danielle Every, said: “Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just getting into cycling, training for a specific goal can often be daunting and a big undertaking. Our expert coaches have helped us take part of the thinking out of it with this new phase of training plans which offer an extra level of flexibility and on-the-go convenience.

“We know how busy life can get sometimes, so we listened to our members to design structured plans that allow them to reach their goals while remaining realistic to the time constraints of day-to-day life.”

TrainingPeaks co-founder and Chief Evangelist, Dirk Friel, added: “TrainingPeaks is excited to partner with British Cycling in offering exclusive digital training plans.

“As a global leader in endurance training technology, our goal is to continually innovate new training solutions that give our partners the best training experience possible. These plans, created by professional coaches from British Cycling, advance the way cyclists train."

All plans can be purchased – excluding the three-week taster, which is free of charge – by visiting https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/knowledge/training-plans. British Cycling members receive a discounted rate of 20% from the training plans.
