David Brearley (Scunthorpe Poly CC) was in commanding form in the latest round of the Scunthope Track League, taking two wins and two second places from four races.

The Hull 22-year-old claimed victories in the senior A devil and scratch race before finishing second in the A/B block handicap and 10-mile scratch race, which was won by David Brearley (Cottingham Coureurs)..

In the Senior B races, Selby veteran Neil Stainthorpe won the devil and the scratch race, while in the youth races, Charlie Ranshaw (Dinnington RC) took three victories.
