European Track Championships 2010

Event Dates: 5-7 November 2010 | Pruszkow, Poland

DAY 1 REPORT - Friday, November 5, 2010
Men's Team Pursuit & Team Sprint; Women's Team Pursuit & Team Sprint - Two Gold, one Silver and one Bronze from four events: that was the haul by GB on the opening day in Poland as the Elite European Track Cycling Championships got underway.

DAY 2 REPORT - Saturday, November 6, 2010
Men's Omnium, Sprint ; Women's Omnium, Sprint - It was an up and down day in Poland for the Great Britain team with a fine Bronze medal for Jason Kenny but a surprising early exit for Chris Hoy which he'll probably have nightmares about for some time.

DAY 3 REPORT- Sunday, November 7, 2010
Men's Omnium, Madison, Keirin; Women's Omnium, Keirin - The final day saw GB winning Gold (Jason Kenny) and Silver (Matt Crampton) in the Men’s Keirin. Victoria Pendleton missed out in the Women’s Keirin whilst Laura Trott and Ed Clancy both finished strongly in the Omniums, but also missed the medals.


Features - We look at the build up to the championships from within the GB Cycling Team

Training Day 3 - As the training winds down, it's Matt Crampton and the Women's Team Pursuit squad who are the focus of our final pre-vent feature from Poland.

Training Day 2 - As the team continue their preparations, we speak to Victoria Pendleton, who has one eye on the future, Chris Hoy, Jess Varnish and Jason Kenny.

Training Day 1 - After a long day of travel, the GB Cycling Team get their first taste of the Pruszkow Velodrome and settle into their hotel and training routine.

GB Team Pursuit - we look at GB's Team Pursuit prospects as bothe men's and women's squads look to build on past successes and answer the challenge of the world's leading teams.

The Road to 2012 Starts Here - The run in to the 2012 London Olympics tarts in earnest at the European Track Championships. Larry Hickmott sets the scene ahead of the event.
