British Cycling’s Interim Sport and Participation Director, Amy Gardner, said:

“We are delighted to once again be able to offer full coverage of the British National Track Championships to fans here in Britain and across the world.

"The start list this year is jam-packed with some of our country’s biggest names and brightest talents, including 15 reigning world champions. At the beginning of a vital Olympic and Paralympic year, it’s brilliant to see these riders supporting our domestic events and showcasing their talents in front of sold-out home crowds in Manchester.

"We’re hugely thankful to Manchester City Council, the National Cycling Centre, our event team and volunteers for supporting us to bring the championships back to Manchester, and can’t wait to see new national champions crowned on the famous boards next weekend.”

Multiple national champion and para-cyclist, Daphne Schrager, said:

“Nationals is such an exciting event because every rider will be raising their game and it will be really hotly contested. I’m so excited just to get race ready again and also to race in Manchester in front of a home crowd. It’s so great that it will be livestreamed and means all of my friends and family can watch from home. It’s a great event and every year it is a real privilege to ride at the National Track Championships.”

A limited number of tickets for the event remain on sale here, with prices ranging from £6.50 - £14 per session.
