Commonwealth Games time trial gold medallist Alex Dowsett is the latest star British rider to be confirmed for the opening round of the season at the Lee Valley VeloPark on 24-25 October.
Dowsett joins a stellar list of road stars who will be hitting the boards in London including Team Sky riders Ben Swift and Ian Stannard as well as Ride London winner, Adam Blythe.
It has been a strong season for the former National Time Trial Champion and Giro d'Italia stage winner which culminated in an impressive performance at the Tour of Britain in September. After signing a new three year deal with Movistar, Dowsett is now looking ahead to the winter season and some track time that could lead up to a possible hour record attempt in 2015.
Revolution round one will be the perfect opportunity to switch from road mode to track and will see Alex compete in the British Cycling National Madison Championships on the Friday evening before kicking off the Revolution Elite Championship on the Saturday representing the Telegraph All-Stars team.
Alex will be paired with Dutch six-day specialist Wim Stroetinga in the All-Stars team. The pair will face an impressive line-up in the Elite Championship including Team Sky (Ben Swift and Ian Stannard), Orica-GreenEDGE (Jens Mouris and Scott Sunderland), Rapha Condor JLT (Ed Clancy and Ollie Wood), NFTO (Adam Blythe and Matt Rowe) and defending champions, Maloja Pushbikers (formerly Rudy Project RT) represented by Christian Grasmann and Marcel Kalz.
Tickets for round one in London are available from the event website or by calling 0844 412 4650.
