On August 10 Exmoor will play host to hundreds of keen road cyclists for the very first Watchet Marauder Charity Cyclosportive.

No average charity ride, the Watchet Maruader is comprised of two routes – a 37 mile piccolo fondo and a 70 mile medio fondo – which are both based on the absolute best, tried and tested roads in the area.

Challenging climbs will be rewarded with stunning views of the coast, the Quantock Hills AONB and Exmoor and, as the event starts and finishes in Watchet, you can enjoy all the ancient harbour town has to offer after the event (including free local ale from one of our sponsoring breweries).

Organised entirely by volunteers and dedicated cyclists from Minehead Cycling Club, all proceeds of the Marauder will go to local children and families’ charity, Watchet Roots, who carry out vital projects in the area to promote health and happiness within the community.
