Event: 11 May 2014
Location: Glossop, Derbyshire

Entry is now open for Glossop Kinder Velo’s sportive, the High Peak Hog. Taking place on Sunday May 11 2014 the second running of the event promises to be bigger and better than last year.

The inaugural event in 2013 sold out within a few weeks so enter early to avoid disappointment! Places are strictly limited to 300 riders to maintain a friendly club spirit. Remember a Hog entry also makes a great Christmas gift for the cyclist in your life.

The event aims to promote our club and cycling in the beautiful Peak District. The full route is a very challenging ride. No fewer than five of the climbs are featured in Simon Warren’s ‘100 Greatest Cycling Climbs. The final climb up Holme Moss featured in both the full and half routes is the same that the pros will tackle on stage two of the 2014 Tour de France.

The £25.00 entry fee includes parking, changing/shower facilities, electronic timing and photos of riders on some of the major climbs available on Flickr to download after the event. You will also get a hot breakfast, feed stations and hog roast (with vegetarian option) at the finish. The Cricket Club bar will also be open!

Can you go the Whole Hog?
