It started with wind and rain and the field of 100 riders splitting almost straight away on the hilly circuit  at the Brynbach Park. After a select group got away, it was British Road Race Champion Dan McLay (Hargroves Cycles) who triumphed with a solo effort. The World Madison Champion made it two stages from two in the afternoon when he was quite simply ‘motoring’. Rider Blog: Richard Seymour (Wales): One of the Welsh team riding in support of overall contender Sam Harrison was Richard Seymour who has only been racing for a year. Here is his diary of his race in the 2010 RIS Junior Tour of Wales. "There’s always a first time for everything but I’ve never had so many firsts in one go! First time riding for Wales, my first ever Junior race, first ever For Goodness Shake recovery drink and first time in a stage race! Shame it wasn’t a first place finish though… I had a very nervous week prior to the Junior Tour as it was one of my first big races". Read the full diary ...
