Job Purpose
This post will be responsible for promoting and facilitating the delivery of Scottish Cycling club development programmes and services to affiliated clubs. You will play a pivotal role in the team, working closely with our clubs to understand their needs and facilitate their development. Using a suite of exciting new tools and resources, CDC’s will support clubs in identifying and facilitating best use of these resources, as well as identifying gaps for future developments to support clubs as best we can.
Club Development Coordinators will also be central to collaborative work. You will play a key role in bringing clubs together locally to facilitate development of plans that will be implemented collectively by clubs in the region. You will also work with local partners to ensure opportunities are developed that fulfil both local and Scottish Cycling strategies; facilitating school club links, links with key facilities, promotion of cycle activity.
Further to these key elements, we would expect Club Development Coordinators to enthusiastically contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of projects within the organisation, as well as play a proactive role in their own development.
Other Information
This is a fixed hour post working 15 hours per week. Scottish Cycling operates a flexibly working policy and is open to discussions on how you would undertake this job alongside your existing commitments. This post has a regional remit, however attendance at meetings and events outside of the region is to be expected.
