British Cycling signs KitBrix as luggage partner

British Cycling and KitBrix can today announce a new partnership which will see the military inspired bags become Official Sports Luggage Supplier for the next four years.

KitBrix will provide the Great Britain Cycling Team with kit storage and organisation solutions from their premium range including its hero modular KitBrix bag and commuter backpack – the CityBrix – to organise and protect their kit for all major events, including World Championships, through until the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

Riders from the Great Britain Cycling Team Senior Academy became the first to test out the hard-wearing kit bags at Challenge Mallorca’s Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana with all Great Britain Cycling Team riders now set to receive the CityBrix, the first ever backpack with a built-in gym locker to use for their commute to training at the HSBC UK | National Cycling Centre.

Oliver Stockwell, the highest placed Great Britain Cycling Team rider in the one-day race, said: “We’ve been using the KitBrix bags for a few weeks now, and they are really hard-wearing. They look good and make packing for big races really easy, so I know it will be a great addition to our kit for years to come.”

British Cycling Performance Director, Stephen Park, added: “While our riders’ eye up the start line and ramp up their preparations for Tokyo, the work behind the scenes to support the team does too.”

“Travelling domestically and abroad is a big part of elite performance, so it’s with great pride that we are partnering with KitBrix to proudly represent the brand and its innovative products all over the world.”

KitBrix owner, Lara Morgan, added: “We are extremely excited to be working with British Cycling and joining them on their journey to major events all over the world. We hope that our innovative products will take care of the athlete’s complex logistical needs to save them time, energy and stress on their training journeys, right up to race day and beyond.

“We believe that time is precious, and we can help the riders and staff to be more efficient and organised in their preparation to be a better sportsperson.”
