Following the successful launch of the Enhance Coach Development Programme, 12 coaches across 7 clubs were awarded a place on the inaugural programme which began in October in this year.
The programme involves three modules – Coaching Practice, Craft of Racing and Planning & Process, which integrate to concurrently deepen knowledge and broaden skills to develop expertise.
Since the start of the programme the coaches have been hard at work attending seminars and learning about topics such as; Talent Development, Coaching as Learning, Practice Design, Science of Learning and Game Based Video Design. Next month’s Seminar explores; Planning, Physiology, Physical Training and the physical determinants of the pathway.
Sam Long, DTCC said, “I loved Enhance seminar #2. Well done, probably the most thought provoking part of my coaching pathway in almost 8 years of effort. Will be mulling over various points for days to come.”
