Great Britain’s Lewis Oliva and Callum Skinner struck gold at the Dublin International Track Grand Prix in Dublin from 11-12 July, winning the sprint and keirin respectively.

The event, which took place at the Sundrive outdoor velodrome in Dublin's Eamonn Ceannt Park, is part of a summer programme of track events for the Great Britain Cycling Team that carry valuable qualification points for the 2015/216 UCI Track Cycling World Cup series later in the year.

Olympic Podium Programme rider Oliva triumphed in Saturday’s sprint, the 23-year-old beating Skinner in the final to claim gold, with bronze going to Italy’s Francesco Ceci, who saw off the challenge of home rider Eoin Mullen.

It was Skinner’s turn for gold in the keirin however on Sunday, the 23-year-old Scot beating Ceci to the line in the final with Oliva taking bronze.

Oliva and Skinner’s results were the highlights for Great Britain with Olympic Senior Academy Programme rider Amy Roberts placing sixth in the women’s keirin and tenth in the omnium.
