Dreigiau Coed y Brenin Dragons hosted the first round of the Go Race MTB North Wales Series at Coed y Brenin on Sunday 19th of April.
The 43 racers, plus 8 mums and dads in the over 16's race, were greeted to a challenging course with warm, dry weather and no midges!! It was great to see so many 'new faces' competing against the regular riders.
A big thank you to the Dragons for staging the event, to Natural Resources Wales for the use of their facilities and co-operation, and to Beics Brenin for donating the prizes.
Round 2 is at Padarn Country park on June 6th with signing on and practice from 9:00am. Racing starts at 10:30am and should be finished by 2pm.
