Following an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events and Communications Officer to join the team at Welsh Cycling. This individual will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating the cycling events programme across Wales.  They will also be responsible for co-ordinating Welsh Cycling’s internal and external communications to ensure there is an increased profile and understanding of Welsh Cycling’s programmes and activities. This will include the development of communication by email newsletter, Twitter and Facebook as well as maintenance of the Welsh Cycling website.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable knowledge of cycle racing across all disciplines, excellent communication and organisation skills and sound IT skills.

This is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours per week). The salary is £20,000 per annum and a company pension scheme is available. The post is based at the Wales National Velodrome, Newport.

Bydd hyn yn cynnwys datblygu’r gwaith cyfathrebu drwy gylchlythyr ar e-bost, Twitter a Facebook yn ogystal â gofalu am wefan Beicio Cymru.
