The Etape Cymru is pleased to welcome back leading sports nutrition supplier ZipVit Sport as the official nutrition partner for the 2012 closed-road sportive event. The toughest closed road ride in the UK will return to North Wales on Sunday 9th September 2012, after being taken over by mass participation events company, Participate Sport.

This year’s involvement from ZipVit will see a huge increase in the amount of product available, ensuring participants are fuelled correctly and feed stations are continually stocked. There will be four feed-stations that will be continually re-stocked along the hugely challenging route to ensure all riders stay energised and hydrated. The ZipVit Sport products available will be ZipVit ZV1 Energy Drink Elite, ZV7 gels and ZV7 Energy Bars.

“We know from 2011 that the Etape Cymru route in North Wales is an extremely challenging one, and with the distance it’s even more essential than usual to fuel correctly,” said Ben McKay, Brand Manager for ZipVit Sport. “We’re delighted to offer our class-leading and pro-proven products to Etape Cymru entrants at their feed stations.”
