Entries are now open for the 2024 Youth Tour of Scotland, with invited teams now able to enter their respective teams for the boys and girls races.

For Scottish Cycling’s Youth Tour of Scotland – Europe’s premier youth stage race – to make it’s return, we need entries from regional and national Teams from across the UK and Ireland.

The Youth Tour of Scotland is a residential stage race, taking place in the beautiful Perthshire countryside. This four-day event welcomes youth teams from across the UK, and often further afield, to compete across four stages battling to gain the top position and sought after jerseys in general classification, points, king and queen of the mountains, team and Scottish rider competitions.

We look forward to welcoming back many of the teams that have entered across the previous decade of competition for a fantastic few days of young rider development, both on and off the bike.

Over the years, many great riders first made their mark in the Youth Tour of Scotland including UCI World Champions such as Tom Pidcock, Zoe Backstedt, Jenny Holl and Charlie Aldridge. The list of former starts goes on, with current road professionals Anna Shackley, Callum Thornley, Maddie Leech, Oscar Onley, Jake Stewart, Max Poole and Sean Flynn all graduating this from the stage race.

To allow the race to return in 2024 we have increased entry costs, after a multi-year price freeze, and moved to a team entry model to streamline the process for teams and the organisers. Should you have any questions on this, please don't hesitate to contact events@scottishcycling.org.uk but most of the info can be found on our previous news release here.
