Scottish Cycling is delighted to launch its new Club Management System, developed in partnership with ServeSport.

A bespoke system, developed to satisfy the needs of cycling clubs in Scotland, the ClubServe system delivers one integrated platform, which will simplify a plethora of administration process and hopefully transform the way clubs operate.

Each Scottish Cycling affiliated club will have access to its own club management system, with the choice of a number of modules that are on offer, spanning areas from event sign up to finances, and from membership right through to a club development planning tool.

See more information about the functionality of the system here

Access to the system will be provided following the approval of affiliation for 2022, and Scottish Cycling’s Club Development team will subsequently be offering a series of webinars and training sessions to ensure clubs can make the most of this system from the off.

Speaking on the announcement, Fraser Johnston, Club Development Manager at Scottish Cycling, said:

“We are really excited about the launch and are really looking forward to working with clubs as we role this out over the next few months.

“What we’ve heard from clubs for years is that they’re having to use a number of different platforms to manage and administrate their club and all it’s activity. Working in partnership with ServeSport, we’ve developed a bespoke product that we believe is going to meet the needs of all cycling clubs in Scotland, across all disciplines, regardless of their size or goals.”

Throughout the development process we have involved a handful of clubs to help us test functionality and feedback on how useful and practical the system is for clubs, who may wish to use it on a day-to-day basis.

Of the ClubServe system, Pete Lowson, Secretary of TEN Cycling Club, said:

“We had the opportunity to test the new Scottish Cycling club management tool provided by ServeSport and were really impressed with the functionality. It will likely be a bit of a shock to clubs who haven’t seen it yet, as there is so much functionality to get your mind round, but I’m really excited to get going with it in the live system and am sure others will be too.

“There are so many different options available, but clubs will be able to use as much or as little as they like, and I strongly believe it will provide us, and others, with a professional and efficient service. I hope other clubs are able to embrace this and share their experiences so we can all maximise the benefits we get from it. Thanks to Scottish Cycling for investing in this system and I look forward to hearing all about how clubs are using it in future.”

Glasgow Riderz were another club involved in the pilot, and Club Secretary, Rachael Halifax, commented:

“As a club we were really impressed with ClubServe and are looking forward to implementing it. It will provide our members with the functionality they desire, whilst allowing the club to manage resource effectively.”
