Scottish National Track Championships

Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Glasgow | Friday 29th Nov - Sunday 1st December

Throughout three fast and furious days of track racing competition, riders will have the chance to compete for individual and team championship titles in a variety of competitions at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. Among the entries are Scotland’s three World Masters Champions, Carol Scott,  Andy Bruce and Martin Lonie, who will be sure to put in great performances. For the first time since the championship was added there is a tandem entry and Scottish Cycling hopes to see this category grow in the future.

Scottish National Cyclo-cross Championships

Knockburn Loch, Banchory | Sunday 1st December

This event will be hosted by the brilliant Deeside Thistle at Knockburn Loch in Aberdeenshire where the 2017 championships were held. The course is a favourite with riders who enjoy the mix of hardpack, sand, plenty of climbing and lots of off-camber racing.

The Scottish Championships is a race within a race – the event is also round 6 of the Scottish Cyclocross Series – and the eligible riders will be drawn from the overall result for the Championships podiums.

Para-Cycling International

HSBC National Cycling Centre, Manchester | Friday 29th Nov - Sunday 1st December

Some of the world’s best para-cyclists will be fine-tuning their Tokyo preparations as the HSBC UK National Cycling Centre hosts the Manchester Para-cycling International this weekend. World sprint champion and Scottish favourite Neil Fachie will ride the sprint events piloted by Lewis Stewart. Rising star Fin Graham will also be racing, keen to build on his success the Para-cycling World Cup in August.

Entry to the event is open to the public and free.

TISSIOT Track World Cup Round 3

Hong Kong, China | Friday 29th Nov - Sunday 1st December

Dundee’s Mark Stewart will ride the TISSOT Track World Cup in Hong Kong this weekend as part of the Great Britain Cycling Team. Having won silver in the omnium in Glasgow, Stewart is keen to maintain this form and fight for a spot at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Scottish Cycling Annual General Meeting

Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Glasgow | Saturday 29th December

The 16th Scottish Cycling Annual General Meeting will take place at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome followed by a presentation of the 2019 - 2023 Strategy and the new facilities strategy.
