The 17th Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 28 November 2020.

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, the Scottish Cycling AGM will be held virtually. Information on attending the AGM and voting arrangements will be provided to clubs in due course.

To attend the AGM, all members are asked to complete the online registration. The link to the AGM registration page can be found here.

Voting arrangements at the AGM will take place via Scottish Cycling’s online platform, ServeSport. Information relating to the online voting arrangements for this year’s AGM, including an instructional video, and access to the voting system will be provided to clubs from Monday 23 November 2020.

The link to the voting system for each member club will be sent to registered club secretaries. A representative from each member club will be required to access the ServeSport system to register their club’s votes.

As clubs can register their votes online from Monday 23 November 2020, this removes the requirement to submit Forms of Proxy for this year’s AGM.

However, should a club wish to nominate the Chair of the AGM to act as a proxy, please complete and return the Form of Proxy to agm@scottishcycling.org.uk no later than 10am on Thursday 26 November 2020.

If you have any questions regarding the Annual Report, or any of the AGM materials, we encourage members to submit written questions regarding any specific matters you may have. This will allow the Board to consider and provide an informed response in advance of the AGM and allow additional time for open debate and discussion on the day.

Please submit any written questions by 10am on Friday 20 November 2020,to agm@scottishcycling.org.uk. We will provide individual written feedback and will publish a list of all Questions & Answers on the website.

Dear Member,

Scottish Cycling is delighted to invite you to the 2020 Scottish Cyclists’ Union Annual General Meeting, beginning at 10:00am on Saturday the 28 November 2020.  Due to the impact of Corona Virus, the AGM will be taking place virtually, with details to be confirmed in due course.

Please find below key dates and milestones for this year’s AGM.

1.       Preliminary Motions

One resolution, from the Board, proposing amendments to the Articles of Association has been raised for the 2020 AGM.

2.       Club/Association Voting Numbers

The voting numbers for each Club/Association are available here.

If your Club/Association’s full entitlement of representatives cannot attend the 2020 AGM, Scottish Cycling will issue Proxy voting and Nominated representative forms with our third and final mailing.  This will be issued no later than 6 November 2020.

3.       Agenda Papers

Final Agenda papers, including written reports will be issued no later than 6 November 2020.

Scottish Cycling hereby gives notice that the 2020 Scottish Cyclists’ Union Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 28 November 2020.

Please find below key dates and milestones for this year’s AGM.

1.    Propositions for the 2020 Agenda

If your club or association would like to propose anything to be included in the 2019 Agenda this should reach Scottish Cycling no later than 3 October 2020. Propositions may include changes to the Memorandum, Articles of Association and Bye-Laws. All propositions must have been approved by two officials in your club or association and be submitted on the proposition form.

2.    Nominations for Board of Directors

Scottish Cycling currently has ONE positions for election or re-election to the Board of Directors. Nominations for these positions should be submitted by 31 October 2020.

Agenda Papers
Preliminary Agenda papers will be circulated by 17 October 2020.  Once received any amendments to the preliminary Agenda must reach Scottish Cycling by no later than 31 October 2020 and final Agenda papers will be issued by 7 November 2020.

3.    Club/ Association Representation

Details of each club or association’s representation at the 2020 AGM will be circulated nearer the time.

4.    Written Reports and questions

Scottish Cycling will publish our Annual Report no later than 7 November 2020. Any questions on the Annual Report should reach the Scottish Cycling by no later than 20 November 2020 and where possible we will provide answers to all questions to allow us more time for any debate on the day.  Any questions submitted and their answers will be published on the AGM section of our website.
