The 16th Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 30 November 2019.

The venue will be the Emirates Arena, 1000 London Road, Glasgow, G40 3HY.

09:30 – 10:00     Arrival, Tea and Coffee will be available

10:00 – 12:00     2019 Annual General Meeting

12:00 – 12:30     Presentation on 2023 and Scottish Cycling Facilities Strategy

12:30 – 13:00     Light Lunch (AGM delegates)

Paper copies of any of these documents can be requested, no later than 48 hours before the AGM, and can be collected at the registration desk on arrival. Please contact Scottish Cycling on 0141 554 6021 or email agm@scottishcycling.org.uk

We are delighted to confirm that the Roll of Honour event, now in its fourth year, will take place at the Stirling Court Hotel on Saturday 7th of March.

In order to vote at the AGM all clubs are asked to complete the Representative Nomination Form to tell us who from your club is attending.

Forms of Proxy must be returned to Scottish Cycling no later than 10am on the 28th of November 2019. These can be posted to Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Emirates Arena, 1000 London Road, Glasgow G40 3HY or emailed to agm@scottishcycling.org.uk

If you have any questions regarding the Annual Report, or any of the AGM materials, we would encourage members to submit written questions regarding any specific matters you may have. This will allow the Board to consider and provide an informed response in advance of the AGM and allow additional time for open debate and discussion on the day.

Please submit any written questions by 10am on the 22nd of November 2019 to agm@scottishcycling.org.uk or in writing to Scottish Cycling at Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Emirates Arena, 1000 London Road, Glasgow G40 3HY.  We will provide individual written feedback and will publish a list of all Questions & Answers on the website and in the AGM packs.

Scottish Cycling is delighted to invite you to the 2019 Scottish Cyclists’ Union Annual General Meeting, beginning at 10:00am on Saturday the 30 November 2019.  The venue for this year’s Annual General Meeting will be the Emirates Arena, 1000 London Road, Glasgow, G40 3HY.

1.      Preliminary Motions

One resolution, from the Board, proposing amendments to the Articles of Association has been raised for the 2019 AGM.

2.      Club/Association Voting Numbers

The voting numbers for each Club/Association is outlined here.   

If your Club/Association’s full entitlement of representatives cannot attend the 2019 AGM, Scottish Cycling will issue Proxy voting and Nominated representative forms with our third and final mailing.  This will be issued no later than 8 November 2019.

3.      Agenda Papers

Final Agenda papers, including written reports will be issued by the 8 November 2019.

Scottish Cycling hereby gives notice that the 2019 Scottish Cyclists’ Union Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 30 November 2019.

Please find below key dates and milestones for this year’s AGM.

1.    Propositions for the 2019 Agenda

If your club or association would like to propose anything to be included in the 2019 Agenda this should reach Scottish Cycling no later than 5 October 2019. Propositions may include changes to the Memorandum, Articles of Association and Bye-Laws. All propositions must have been approved by two officials in your club or association and be submitted on the proposition form.

2.    Nominations for Board of Directors

Scottish Cycling currently has THREE positions for election or re-election to the Board of Directors. Nominations for these positions should be submitted by 2 November 2019.

Agenda Papers
Preliminary Agenda papers will be circulated by 19 October 2019.  Once received any amendments to the preliminary Agenda must reach Scottish Cycling by no later than 2 November 2019 and final Agenda papers will be issued by 9 November 2019.

3.    Club/ Association Representation

Details of each club or association’s representation at the 2019 AGM will be circulated nearer the time.

4.    Written Reports and questions

Scottish Cycling will publish our Annual Report no later than 9 November 2019. Any questions on the Annual Report should reach the Scottish Cycling by no later than 22 November 2019 and where possible we will provide answers to all questions to allow us more time for any debate on the day.  Any questions submitted and their answers will be published on the AGM section of our website.
