The final round of the Scottish Cycling Alba Series took place at the weekend (Sunday 31^st July) as part of the Billy Warnock Memorial Road Race.

The race with took place near Grangemouth in Stirling was windy, tough, and had a steep climb - which had to be tackled 8 times in the 78 mile race.

David Lines (Wheelbase Altura) took 3^rd place, securing those well-earned points to secure an Alba Series victory.

He was pipped to the post by Charlie Tanfield (Planet X-Northside Cycling) and Ben Hethering (Planet X-Northside Cycling) who took 1^st and 2^nd place. Planet X- Northside Cycling had four out of their five finishing riders in the top ten.

The event which was run by Falkirk Bike Club also incorporated the Scottish Cycling East & Central Regional Road Race Championships.  Andrew Scorey (Berwick Wheelers CC) took that title, coming in 16^th.
