Event: 26 October 2013
Report: Snowdon Sports

First-week winner Jonathan Dexter (We Live Mountains) repeated the dose in windy and overcast conditions for the second of York Sport’s Last Chance races.

The Chesterfield 25-year-old attacked with a lap to go and stayed away to win from breakaway rivals Elliott Pike (Lichfield City CC), who took the sprint for second place, and Nick Giles (Fibrax-Wrexham RC).

It was a second near miss for Giles, who had earlier taken second place in the race for third and fourth categories behind Andrew Windrum (York Cycleworks) in a sprint finish after the pair had broken clear from the rest of the field in the early stages.
