Event: 1 September 2013
Report: Snowdon Sports

Mike Coyle of Brighton Mitre won the main event of an Après sponsored event for the second week running as he soloed to victory in September Sessions one in Brighton.

After winning the headlining race of the Après Brighton Bank Holiday Bonanza, the 51-year-old Brighton Mitre man followed it up with a superb victory at Home Farm.

Making his second attack of the race, Coyle got away from the bunch and managed to drop team mate Ian Robbins to finish first.

Patrick Martin of WyndyMilla held his nerve in a bunch sprint to take second place and the podium was completed by Oliver Moors of Prestige VC.

The winner of the category three race was David Stevens of Neon Velo and in the category fours it was Stuart Modd (Hastings and St Leonard’s) who crossed the line first.

In the under 8/10 race, Freddie Newman of Preston Park Youth Cycling Club was victorious and Catford CC rider Matthew Webber won the under 12/14/16 race.
