Claiming his third circuit race win of the season, Harry Tanfield (Herbalife-Leisure Lakes Bikes.com) took the elite honours at the annual Hartlepool Carnival Criteriums over a flat, 1-km Oakesway Industrial Estate course.

The Middlesbrough 18-year-old took the win at the main expense of Craig Anderson (Achieve-Skinnergate Racing) after 50 laps.

Youth rider Ralf Hodgson (Marton RT) continued a successful season by seeing off his elders for victory in the supporting event for third and fourth categories.
