South East Region champion Dante Carpenter secured his third road race win of the season as Pedal Heaven RT made numbers count in the closing stages of London Dynamo’s 75-mile Summer event on the Rake course, in Sussex.

Carpenter finished 12 seconds clear of the rest of a five-man break, who were led in by his team-mate Chris McNamara with third place going to Anthony Moye (Velo29-Blackhawk).

McNamara and Colton Jarisch (Felt-Colbornes-Hargroves RT), who came in fifth, broke away from the rest of the field on second of ten laps and stayed away until they were joined by a chasing trio of Carpenter, Moye and Tom Stockdale (Spin Rotor Primal C-Originals RT) going into the last three laps.

With the rest of the field now two minutes back the race was between these five, and under-23 Carpenter jumped away to claim the win with McNamara monitoring the rest before completing a perfect day for the team in the sprint.
