Event: 11 July 2013
Report: Trevor Taylor/Snowdon Sports

The sixth race of eight in the Ford Go Race series attracted 50 entrants in the evening summer sun.

The first prime at the end of lap five was won by Azelus Christiodhs, with the second after seven laps being taken by Sam Brown.

A third prime after 10 laps was taken by Craig Nicholls (Glendene CC). A valiant attempt of a break was made, with the group working well together, but a combination of a moderate wind and a hard working chasing pack cancelled their advantage.

The chequered flag after 13 laps welcomed the bunch, with Tim Savage (Maldon CC) taking the win followed by Mick Bath (API) and Jason Fitchew (Ford CC), the top three riders in the series taking the podium slots.

The next, and penultimate race in the series take place on July 25th. Signing on from 6pm for a 7pm start.
