Fourth last year, Scott McCrossan (Rock To Roll Cycles) stepped up to secure his first road win of the season in Glasgow Wheelers’ 75-mile Arthur Campbell Memorial road race on the testing Stewarton circuit.

The improving 20-year-old, from Lanark, got the better of Ben Greenwood (Team Hope Factory Racing) to reverse the result from the Dick Longdragon Memorial race a week earlier with Gary Hand (Herbalife-Leisure Lakes Bikes.com) taking third place ahead of 2012 winner Peter Murdoch (Paisley Velo RT).

Brian Widdison (Moray Firth CC) won the supporting 47-mile race for third and fourth categories, a West of Scotland CA Series round.
