Although Team Tredz rider Joe Holt took victory in the Youth A race in the final round of the Icebreaker Youth Series, it is Jack Escritt of Velocity WD-40 who takes the title, having placed on the podium in all three events. Jack finished second to Joe on Saturday, with Joseph Truman (I-Team CC) in third.
In the Youth A girls category, Cardiff Ajax CC’s Emily Haycox has stormed to an overall win after finishing first in every race. Megan Chard (Bush Healthcare CRT) and Emily Capewell (Lichfield City CC) completed the podium in event three.
In Youth B, Fred Wright of VC Londres secured second place and first place overall to take the title. Cardiff JIF’s Rhys Britton was first on the day.
Jessica Roberts was another runaway winner in the girl’s event, winning all three races and taking home the Youth B title.
Owain Roberts of Towy Riders won the final race of the Youth C series but second place was enough for Lewis Askey (Lichfield City CC) to top the overall rankings.
Once again, in the Youth C girls, it was a perfect record for Elynor Backstedt (Maindy Flyers Youth CC) as three wins from three took her to the top of the table.
