The Out of the Saddle Summer Road Race was dominated by Node4 - Giordana Racing with their riders occupying the top four places.

The course consisted of 13 laps of the 10km Stainton circuit near Maltby and saw a strong line-up of competitors with representatives from Node 4, Sportscover Altura and Wheelbase among the 59 starters.

Five other riders stayed with them, including Adam Duggleby (Sportscover Altura RT), Kit Gilham (Herbalife-Leisure Lakes and Dave Shackleton of Wilsons Wheels RT.

The 10-man break stayed away happily until the seventh lap when Northey, Bialoblocki, Williams and Cronshaw made a break for it.
