North Hampshire Road Club will host a series of free Go-Ride coaching sessions for young people on Saturday mornings in Basingstoke.

Following on from the success of the Great Britain Cycling Team at the Olympics and Bradley Wiggins' win at the Tour de France there has understandably been a great deal of interest from youngsters wanting to try cycling.

To respond to this interest there will be free Go-Ride Cycling Coaching sessions for young people every Saturday morning from 1000-1130 at The War Memorial Park, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG.

The sessions start this Saturday, 18 August and we will meet at the car park near the changing rooms.

The British Cycling Go-Ride club - together with volunteers from Cycle Club Basingstoke - will host the session, led by Anthony Dyment (NHRC) - a British Cycling Qualified Coach with assistance from Richard Lewis (CCB) and Berni Charlick (CCB).

Initially youngsters will require their own bike but we will be able to provide loan bikes for the session with the assistance of The Costello School in the very near future.

For further information email Anthony Dyment or call 07918888201.
