Report: Snowdon Sports

Ayr Roads’ Owen Ross came through a photo finish to take a win in the Straiton Struggle Road Race.

The 50-mile race saw a bad crash resulting in one rider going to hospital with a broken collarbone.

The end of the race was chaotic too – there wasn’t the equipment for a photo finish judgement so it had to be decided using footage and pictures from mobile phones in the crowd.

Ross’ Ayr Roads team mate, Paul Gibson came in second and Michael Paton of Falkirk VC was third.
