Winner of round eight a month ago, first-category Adam Cotterell (Zappi’s CC) made it two for the Surrey League Handicap Series with victory in the 12th round hosted by East Grinstead CC.

The Epsom 25-year-old outsprinted breakaway companion Maurice Brennan (Redhill CC) after 24 miles of racing with a gap of 40 seconds to the rest, who were led in by Stephen Broomfield (Addiscombe CC).
