Competing in the second race of his debut season, David Mitchell (i-Team CC) sprinted to victory in the latest round of the Surrey League fourth-category series at Dunsfold Park.

The 34-year-old, from Petersfield, Hampshire, improved from a 12th place on his debut ride on the Cranleigh circuit six weeks earlier to win from Barry Dodd (Redhill CC), taking his second podium finish of the series, and Steve Tribe.
