FORME Impsport talent Will Fox took victory in the Worcester News Road Race on Sunday, winning in a bunch sprint finish to the 75-mile event on the Kinnersley circuit in Worcestershire.

The 22-year-old from Banbury held off a talented and experienced E/1/2/3 bunch to take victory at the end of a closely-fought race around the country lanes.

An early crash put an end to the hopes of Motorpoint Pro Cycling's Lee Davis who pulled out shortly after he had been brought down, but despite several attempted breakaways none could stick for longer than a few miles before the eager bunch would chase them down.

Covering six laps of a 12.5-mile circuit, not even the climb to the finish of Severn Stoke hill could help a break get clear and the race headed for a bunch gallop.

Fox held off the attentions of Team Qoroz rival Ben Stockdale, while Mammoth Lifestyle too third and fourth, with Andrew Udall and Martin Ford respectively.
