National Rankings Home

British Cycling's National Rankings are one of the most popular destinations on this website as riders track their progress relative to their peers and target moves up through the system. They are also a great guide to which riders are in form.

Week Ending 27 May 2011 | Last Week's Rankings Update

Elite Men: No change at the top, Rapha Condor Sharp's Zak Dempster still heads the Elite ranking tables with 455 points, 41 points ahead of his nearest rival Marcin Bialoblocki of Motorpoint Pro Cycling. However, behind them Jason White of Cyclepremier.com-Metaltek is gaining ground on 382 points, thanks to a top 20 placing at the Eastern Regional RR Champs, a 2nd place and a win in the last two rounds of the Hog Hill Summer circuits.

Felt-Corbornes RT rider Justin Hoy remains in touch in fourth position, holding his position thanks to consistent performances in the Cycle Kingdom Circuits. However behind him in fifth place is Twenty3c-Orbea's Marcel Six, who replaces last week's 5th place Johnny McEvoy. Marcel's pair of top ten places in the Tour Series, with a 7th place in Durham and 4th place last night in Aberystwyth make him this week's big mover. Similarly, Tom Barras of Cyclepremier continues his ascension of the table, moving from 13th to 9th this week, thanks to a 5th place finish in the Yorkshire Regional RR Champs, despite a dramatic crash alongside Scott Thwaites during the final sprint. Corley Cycles' Ashley Cox also climbs into the top ten following a fine third place in the Central Region RR champs.

Trading places with Team Raleigh are Motorpoint, while also on the ascendancy are Team Corley Cycles, again benefitting from a good day at the office in the Regionals. Rapha Condor Sharp slip from second to fifth place. However, with strong performances in the recent Tour Series events, the boys in black are sure to stay in contention. Cyclepremier move up to fourth position while Twenty3c-Orbea move from 8th to 6th thanks in part to Marcel Six's efforts.
