2011 Team Line-up for Team Sigma SportThe Sigma Sport- Specialized Cycling Team line up for the 2011 season is now complete with the addition of 21 year old Tom Copeland from Eastbourne. Tom has spent the last three years in Britanny, racing for the French Espoir Division 1 team Bic 2000 for the past two seasons and achieving many solid results. British legend Sean Yates has mentored Tom for the last couple of years and sees joining the team major step up. Tom is looking forward to a packed domestic calendar as well as exposure to UCI level racing in Northern Europe as the team continue to build on the success of their maiden year as a UCI Continental team.

Sigma's Simon Richardson is back with the team in 2011.

Rider/Manager Matt Stephens says of the new signing, "Tom's a very committed rider who has gone out on his own to France as a first year senior, learnt the language and established himself as a respected 'rouleur'. Given the strength of the domestic scene, he now wants to return home and take things to the next level. With the wealth of experience we have, coupled with a balanced race program and fantastic technical back up I'm sure Tom will start to realise his potential. I see him as a team rider for the present who will learn from the other guys on the squad- with a mentor like Sean Yates he'll be up for some serious turns on the front!"
