West Midlands RR League Standings

Following the running of the first two events in the West Midlands Road Race League, Alister Clay of Halesowen A&CC holds a commanding lead in the individual standings. With third places in both the Bill Jinks Memorial RR and Paramount CRT/ Stan Jones RR, Alister has 42 points to the 22 of second placed Conor O'Brien of the Solihull CC. So far only three riders have scored points in both events so there is plenty of scope for change in the leader board over the series.

In the team competition, the gap between the Halesowen A&CC and the other clubs is going to be hard to close. They currently have 72 points to Solihull CC's 25. With an additional point for each rider entered, their strong entry for each race has enhanced the points from the individual standings. However, the entries from other West Midland clubs are increasing so they can't rest on their laurels. Details of the current standings are:
