Entries Low for Preston GP Crits
- Story posted September 1
- Entries Low for Preston GP CritsPre race entries for the City of Preston Grand Prix Cycle Races area at a very low level. Following last year's sucess, the organiser of the Preston Town Centre races, Ivor Armstrong is very surprised and dissappointed to announce that the level of entry in all the events, Youth (11), Regional B (14)and Elite Men's Series (18) are so low that, if there is no substantial change during the next week, he will have to reccomend to the City Council that the event is not sustainable.I am sure that all riders will understand that this level of entry does not warrant the cost of closing down the whole City centre, marshalling and providing the generous prize list. For anyone wishing to enter, please go to the relevant page on the CDNW website below, where all the details are available
